GridLabs, a California-based nonprofit organization that provides technical expertise to policy makers on the design, operation and attributes of dynamic, large-scale grid systems, has issued a white paper designed to help South Carolina stakeholders understand how the grid can be modernized to provide direct economic benefits to customers. The paper, published Jan. 31, is essentially a “how to” guide to a favorable benefit-to-cost ratio for customers.
